BEN JEFFS SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

General Information 
  • The annual scholarship amount is typically a minimum of $500, depending on oil, gas and mineral royalties.
  • The Cadillac Area Foundation oversees the management of the financial investment and ongoing maintenance of the oil, gas and mineral rights to assure ongoing funds are available each year.
  • The Lake Education Foundation (LCEF) Committee reviews all applications and selects recipients for each LC scholarship.
  • Applicants must be Lake City High School Seniors who plan to attend a post-secondary program educational program in a university, college or technical trade school.
  • Applicants must complete and submit the application according to the guidelines provided on the next page. Deadline for submission is March 1.
  • The Ben Jeffs Memorial Scholarship is payable upon completion of the first semester of post-secondary education with proof (college or trade school transcript) of passing grades. 
 
 
BRANDT FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

  • The annual scholarship amount is $500.
  • The Cadillac Area Foundation oversees the management of the financial investment to assure ongoing funds are available each year. The Lake City Education Foundation (LCEF) Committee reviews all applications and selects recipients for each LC scholarship.
  • Applicants must be Lake City High School Seniors who plan to attend a post-secondary program in a university, college or trade school.
  • Applicants must complete and submit the application according to the guidelines provided on the next page. Deadline for submission is March 1.
  • The Brandt Family Scholarship is payable upon completion of the first semester of post-secondary education with proof (college or trade school transcript) of passing grades.
 
CAROL MOOTE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
 
General Information
  • The annual scholarship amount is typically a minimum of $500, depending on investment returns and the fluctuating economy.
  • The Cadillac Area Foundation oversees the management of the financial investment to ensure ongoing funds are available each year. The Lake City Education Foundation (LCEF) Committee reviews all applications and selects recipients for each LC scholarship.
  • Applicants must be Lake City High School Seniors who plan to attend a post-secondary program in a university, college or trade school.

JOE W. ELLIOTT SCHOLARSHIP

  • The Joe Elliot Scholarship is contingent upon proof of registration for the second term or semester of college or trade school, in addition, earning a cumulative grade point average of no less than 2.0.

Wexford-Missaukee ISD Scholarships  

 Fund of Hope Scholarship – is available to current residents of the Wexford-Missaukee ISD area graduating from high school and Wexford Missaukee Career Technical Center students within the Wexford Missaukee Intermediate School District.
 

 Helen and Harvey Pell Fund for Education Scholarship – is available to current residents of the Wexford-Missaukee ISD area graduating from high school, have graduated from high school, or obtained a GED.

Paul McMullen Track & Field Memorial Scholarship Application – Wexford Missaukee ISD School District High school track and field performance results in the 1600 and/or 800 meter run.
